Tapas with spinach and chickpeas
date night dinner spread featuring: 🫑 blistered shishitos 🧄 Andalusian style chard and chickpeas 🥖 sourdough baguettes 🌶 marinated sweet peppers and cherry tomatoes 🐟 tinned mackerel
Mostly assembly except the chickpeas. Used a fantastic recipe for those from Cook’s Illustrated and subbed in fresh chard for frozen spinach. It’s a stew thickened with breadcrumbs and flavored with garlic, paprika, cumin, cinnamon, and sherry vinegar. So good.
